The App performs every single operation — converting, merging, splitting, compressing, signing, and all other tools — locally on your device using on-device processing only.

We do not operate any backend server for this app, we do not use any external API, and we do not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking library. Because of this, there is no remote system that ever receives, stores, or processes your files or personal data.

Information We Collect

We do not collect any personal information, and we do not collect your files. Specifically:

• No account or sign-up is required to use the App.
• No files, documents, images, or PDFs are uploaded anywhere.
• No usage analytics, crash reports, or behavioral tracking are sent to us.
• No advertising identifiers or third-party ad SDKs are used.
• No device identifiers, location data, or contacts are accessed.

How Your Data Is Processed

100% On-Device Processing

All PDF operations — Image to PDF, Scan to PDF, Compress PDF, Merge PDF, Split PDF, Word/Excel/PPT to PDF, PDF to Image, HTML to PDF, Text to PDF, Rotate PDF, Delete Page, Signature PDF, Lock/Unlock PDF, Add/Remove Watermark, File Reader, and Reorder Pages — run entirely within the App using your device's own processing power.

No Network Transmission

The App does not require an internet connection to function, and it does not make network requests to send your files or content to any server, cloud storage, or third party. Whether you are online or in airplane mode, the tools behave identically.

Local Storage Only

Any file you import, convert, or export is saved only to your own device's local storage (such as your Files app, Downloads, or Gallery, depending on your permission settings). We have no copy of it, and we have no way to access it.

Permissions We Request

The App may ask for the following device permissions, used strictly for their stated purpose and never transmitted externally:

• Camera — only to let you scan a physical document directly into a PDF.
• Storage / Files access — only to let you import a file to convert and save the resulting file back to your device.
• Photos / Gallery access — only to let you pick or save images used by tools like Image to PDF and PDF to Image.

You may deny or revoke any of these permissions in your device settings at any time; doing so only limits the related tool's functionality, and never affects your privacy since no data is sent anywhere regardless.

Third-Party Services

Duck PDF Converter does not integrate any third-party SDKs, analytics platforms, advertising networks, crash-reporting tools, or cloud APIs of any kind. We do not share, sell, rent, or trade your information or files with anyone, because we never receive them in the first place.

Children's Privacy

Because the App collects no personal data from anyone, it does not knowingly collect information from children either. The App is safe for use by any age group under applicable app-store guidelines.

Data Security

Since your files and data never leave your device, there is no transmission to intercept and no remote server to breach. Your files are only as secure as your own device, so we recommend using your device's built-in lock screen and encryption features for extra protection.

Changes to This Policy

If this Privacy Policy is ever updated, the revised version will be published within the App and on our listing page, along with an updated "Last updated" date at the top of this document. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
